The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) came into existence in the year 1966 and the student strength has been increasing drastically over the years. The Board also supervises the secondary education in the State and gives recognition to the schools and promotes other educational activities.

The KSEEB has been conducting examinations and about 8.5 lakh students appear for examinations every year.

The KSEEB Board conducts SSLC examination every year in the month of March and for 2016 date sheet will be announced soon on www.indianresults.info

For 2013 the Karnataka Board had conducted SSLC examination in the month of March, and the date sheet was released much earlier to the examinations. Results were announced in the month of May 2013. The board also started results with photos since 2011.

Karnataka Board (Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) is an educational institution which is committed to quality education for the development of all the students. The Department of Pre-University, Government of Karnataka 1st & 2nd PUC exams are held by the board to see the performances of the students. The students are evaluated at the end of the academic year in the 12th class. A certificate of qualification is given on passing the examination. The PUC Board conducts exams in the month of March 2016 and supplementary exams in the month of June 2016 in the same year itself.
